CM KCR holds a meeting with former cong MP Undavalli Arun Kumar.

Chief minister Mr KCR met Mr Undavalli Arun Kumar, a senior politician and former MP of Rajahmundry.
They sat for nearly three hours at Pragathi Bhavan. The CM reportedly apprised him of the present political scenario at national level, political vaccum in the country and the need to build an alternative force to BJP at national level.
Arun Kumar too shared his views on the issue as he is also a strong opponent of BJP ideology.
They planned to meet again. Earlier a few days ago Mr KCR personally spoke to Mr Arun Kumar over phone and invited him to Pragathi Bhavan.
Later addressing media persons, Mr Arun Kumar said there is urgent need for unity of opposition parties against BJP or an alternate force at national level. The country’s image suffered badly on the global level with fundamentalist policies of the BJP. It will affect the lives of thousands of Indians living in other countries.
At a time when Indians are building temples even in gulf countries, the BJP is still dividing people on the basis of religion and promoting hatred and intolerance, he pointed out.
Mr KCR too strongly opposed the BJP’s agenda and has been trying to build an alternate force either by floating a new political party or bringing together the various political parties across the country.
