Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao congratulated the eminent personalities, from various states of the country including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, who have been selected for the Padma awards
CM said that the role of the Padma awardees in leading the society in a qualitative direction by displaying great talent in their chosen fields with sincerity and responsibility and lead a community life is invaluable.
The Chief Minister suggested that their special efforts in the respective fields across the country will be a guiding force for tomorrow’s generation and today’s youth should take them as role models.
From Telangana, Chinna Jeeyar Swami and Kamlesh D Patel were conferred with Padma Bhushan in the field of spiritualism. Modadugu Vijay Gupta (Science & Engineering), Hanumantha Rao Pasupuleti (Medicine), B Ramakrishna Reddy (Literature & Education) are the Padma Shri awardees from the state.
Padma awards are conferred in recognition for outstanding services in the fields of Social, Literary, Music, Language, Spirituality, Culture, Education, Medicine, Science and Technology and many other fields.
