Telangana statehood bill was introduced in State Assembly and Council a short while ago.
As soon as Assembly started, it had to be adjourned for 30 minutes as Seemandhra and Telangana MLAs shouted slogans. After the house reconvened, Speaker Nadendla Manohar announced that AP Reorganization Bill has been sent to the house by President Pranab Mukherjee.
Pandemonium erupted in the house as the Speaker was going ahead with his announcement.
Assembly secretary Sadaram read out the contents of the bill even as Seemandhra MLAs resorted to sloganeering.
The bill was tabled in Legislative council also.
Both houses were adjourned for 3o minutes again.
The Assembly premises witnessed ugly scenes as some Seemandhra TDP MLAs tore the statehood bill. TRS MLAs got emotional on seeing this and tried to obstruct the TDP MLAs.
Even YSRCP MLAs displayed despicable behavior as they tried to burn the copies of the statehood bill.
