The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Council were adjourned repeatedly today as Seemandhra MLAs continued to disrupt both the houses.
Today morning as soon as the Assembly convened, speaker Nandendla Manohar conveyed new year greetings to the members. He then announced that all the adjournment motions given by members are rejected.
Immediately Seemandhra MLAs surrounded the podium and raised slogans. Even Telangana MLAs also responded with counter slogans.
Nadendla Manohar then adjourned the house for 30 minutes. The same scenes were witnessed when the house reconvened.
The house was adjourned for one hour for the second time.
Even the Legislative Council was also adjourned as MLCs created ruckus.
