Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Sports School students have received a rare honour. Two students from Tribal Sports School in Asifabad will take part in the Republic Day parade in New Delhi.
Athram Anjali and Thumram Satyabhama were invited for the event as a recognition for their extraordinary performance in sports. While Anjali is an athlete, Satyabhama is a handball player.
The previous BRS government has revolutionised the Gurukul education system in Telangana. In addition to academics, the BRS government has also placed equal importance on extra curricular activities and sports. The students from the gurukul institutions have participated in many national events and bagged many awards.
