Another conspiracy hatched by Yellow Media to tarnish the image of Hyderabad and Telangana has been exposed.
On a day when TRS candidate Kotha Prabhakar Reddy won the Medak Bypoll by a record majority, the Yellow Media has attempted to reduce the impact of that resounding victory by planting a half-truth about Hyderabad Metro Rail.
Both Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy, known for their anti-Telangana bias, have ganged up to publish a twisted version of a letter written by L&T to Telangana government.
The fact is L&T had written such letters to erstwhile Andhra Pradesh government several times, but the Yellow Media never thought it newsworthy.
Here is one such letter written to erstwhile AP Chief Minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy in February 2014
But when a copy of a similar letter is written to Telangana government, the Yellow Media waits for an opportune moment, and then cooks up a half-truth that L&T wants to exit Metro due to Telangana state formation and due to Telangana government behavior.
Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao has reacted very seriously at this blatant attempt by Yellow Media to tarnish the image of Brand Hyderabad.
He reviewed the Metro Rail project along with L&T officials, after which Managing Direcgtor of L&T, VB Gadgil issued a clarification about the issue.
L&T has also released the past letters it had written to Andhra Pradesh government expressing its intent to exit from the project.
The latest saga is only a reminder of how alert Telanganites should be to expose the conspiracies of anti-Telangana lobby
