Anil Kumar Reddy, a student of Degree second year, committed suicide for Telangana by hanging himself in his room. He is the second son of Narayan Reddy, and Yadamma who stay in Sanjay Nagar in Mahabubnagar town.
Students of Palamoor University who were enraged on hearing this reached the Mahabubnagar government hospital in large numbers and shouted slogans against the Chief Minister, Congress Party and Telugu Desam party.
Newly elected MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy, district JAC convenor Rajendar Reddy and TRS leader Syed Ibrahim consoled the parents of the martyr.
Later Palamoor University students burnt the effigy of Telangana opposers in the university campus.
