Nizamabad MP K Kavitha said that chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao has sanctioned 1,100 additional houses for Nizamabad urban under double bedroom houses for weaker sections.
Kavitha called on the chief minister at the Secretariat here on Friday. Speaking to reporters later, she said that under double bedroom houses, every urban segment was sanctioned 400 houses. However, the CM sanctioned 1,110 additional houses taking total houses for Nizamabad urban segment to 1,500.
She thanked the CM for providing additional houses. Kavitha said that the CM informed her that he would tour Nizamabad and Jagityal Assembly segments soon. Nizamabad MLA B Ganesh Gupta, Jagityal TRS incharge Sanjay too called on the CM along with Kavitha.
Kavitha said that the CM also assured her to sanction funds for underground drainage system in Nizamabad town.
On the Central government’s discrimination in sanctioning only 10,000 houses to Telangana against sanction of more than one lakh houses to AP under housing for all scheme, Kavitha said that they would raise the issue in Parliament.
