Not the BRS, it is the opposition that is in tatters: Minister Harish Rao

The BRS senior leader and Health Minister Mr T Harish Rao said the BJP leaders who dreamed big proved futile. They wished that scores of BRS party leaders will join the BJP, which is found untrue, said Minister Mr T Harish Rao. He said his party has very strong backing from farmers, women and all other sections. No leader from the party is leaving to join the BJP and Congress as they wished. “Their wishes are a mere illusion,” he said.

In a major blow to the BJP, the party’s Kothagudem district president K Satyanarayana joined the BRS party ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Khammam district. It amply proves that BJP holds no promise to the leaders or people. It is the BJP leaders who say that their party hardly has 20 to 25 candidates to contest and does not have leaders to contest all the 119 Assembly constituencies in Telangana state.

BJP leader Eatela Rajender and others who claimed that scores of BRS leaders will join their party are in utter shock at the desertion of the Kothagudem district party president. Meanwhile, the Congress is in a state of limbo. The leaders within the party accuse the leadership of trying to sell away the Assembly tickets and are least bothered about the party’s welfare.

Mr Harish Rao pointed out that BJP leaders tried to gain political mileage by launching Goebbels propaganda against the ruling party. The BJP and Congress party leaders are in utter shock as none from the BRS left after the announcement of its list of candidates for the ensuing Assembly elections. “There is a festive mood and colourful celebrations all over the state after CM Mr KCR released the list of the party. The BJP and Congress leaders remain speechless now,” Mr Harish Rao pointed out.
