Emphasizing that CM KCR has performed remarkably well in Telangana, Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal spoke highly of KCR’s governance. Speaking at a media award ceremony in New Delhi, Kejriwal said that CM KCR did an exceptional job in the irrigation sector and health care.
“KCR has provided irrigation water to every agricultural field and also conducted eye screening (Kanti Velugu program) to four crore people of Telangana,” Kejriwal said. The AAP supremo added that the KCR government has also conducted eye surgeries, provided free spectacles, and medicines for those in need. Lamenting that we are busy in negativity and pulling each other down, Kejriwal questioned why can’t we learn from each other and adopt best practices.
Kejriwal was one of the chief guests for the launch of the second phase of Kanti Velugu program in January 2023. Earlier, in some instances, the Delhi CM heaped praises on the program which aims for an avoidable blindness free Telangana.
