Lulu Group Chairman and MD Yusuff Ali spoke highly of Minister KT Rama Rao’s perseverance to attract investments to Telangana. Ali, who was in Hyderabad for an event to mark the commencement of Lulu Group’s operations in Telangana, extolled KTR’s hard work, which he had seen, at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.
Ali who was at Davos for WEF shared his experience of being a witness to the dedication of Minister KTR for Telangana. “Seeing is believing. I saw in Davos, from 7.30 to 12.30 in the night, he (Minister KTR) is meeting the investors untiringly. He is totally committed to the state,” Ali said.
In addition to opening a mall, the Lulu Group has also announced an investment worth Rs. 3,500 crores in food processing and retail sectors in Telangana. At the same event, KTR explained how five revolutions in agriculture and allied sectors were ushered in Telangana and pitched the state as an ideal destination for investments in those sectors. Impressed by KTR’s pitch, Ali right away announced their group’s significant investments in agriculture and allied sectors.
