
The BJP and Congress leaders who wished that there will be widespread discontent among the BRS leaders and they will desert the party proved wrong. The sitting MLAs who were dropped this time said they abide by the decision of party chief Mr KCR. Station Ghanpur MLA T Rajaiah told the newsmen that though he was unhappy for not getting a ticket this time, he would strive for the party victory in the ensuing elections. “I believe Mr KCR will give me another opportunity to serve the people,” he said urging his followers to ensure victory to the party in Station Ghanpur.
Asifabad MLA Atram Sakku met the CM along with new candidate Kova Laxmi. He said he is happy with the decision of Mr KCR. “Mr KCR is the ultimate decision maker. He knows what is better for the party or his party leader. He will look after my political career,” he said pledging to work for the victory of Kova Laxmi. Cantonment candidate Lasya Nandita, daughter of late MLA G Sayanna, Korutla candidate K Sanjay Kumar along with his father and sitting MLA K Vidyasagar Rao met CM KCR and thanked him for his kind gesture.
BRS party chief Mr KCR has warned the party leaders against anti-party activities and covert actions. Those indulging in anti-party activities will be expelled from the party. It will end their political career forever. The party will not tolerate any indiscipline. “The party workers should keep a tab on the movements of leaders in their respective constituencies,” he said.
