MP Prabhakar Reddy stabbing incident: Revanth Reddy tries to shift blame on others

Instead of condemning the incident of murder attempt on BRS Dubbaka constituency candidate, Medak MP Mr Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, the Congress leader A Revanth Reddy downplayed the incident. He said the accused G Raju belonged to BJP one time and to BRS at another time. It was clearly established that G Raju was an active worker of the Congress party and an active member of its social media.

However, the Congress leader and his team dished out doctored videos and messages to throw the blame on BJP and BRS. He went on to claim that the Congress party always meant peace. The social media accounts of the accused showed photographs of him sporting a Congress party scarf with ‘Jai Congress Mirdoddi Mandal’ slogan.

The Congress party leaders morphed the photos of the accused Raju sporting a BJP scarf and tried to throw blame on that party. Sensing the imminent defeat in the ensuing assembly elections, the Congress leaders are trying every trick including resorting to physical attacks on ruling BRS candidates to win the election.

People were detesting the attitude of Congress leaders and their statements on ruling party leaders. One may recall the days of the Congress regime where communal violence was the order of the day and there were days of prolonged curfews in the state. The leaders go to any extent to settle their personal scores within the party at the cost of the people and their safety.
