Unbecoming on his part being a Prime Minister, Mr Modi is telling lies to Telangana people without any scruples, said BRS working president and minister Mr KT Rama Rao. It is CM KCR who waived the farm loans of Rs. 27,000 crore two times but Modi says farmers are in distress in Telangana. He should remember that Mr KCR is the saviour of 70 lakh farmers in the state who launched several schemes for them.
The Rythu Bandhu was copied by Mr Modi and all other welfare schemes introduced by Mr KCR in Telangana. Now without any shame, Modi comes to Telangana to hoodwink people here. However, people are not ready to believe in him. Mr Rama Rao inaugurated the IT Hub at Suryapet and distributed Dalit Bandhu cheques to beneficiaries with Minister G Jagadish Reddy on Sunday.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Rama Rao said Mr Modi is apprehending that the BRS is being driven by somebody. “BRS is in the safe hands of Mr KCR and one need not fear. But Modi should worry that his BJP is being controlled by Mr Adani,” he remarked. The BRS belongs to a family of four crore people of Telangana. It was founded by them, of them and for them.
The BRS leader asked people if should they vote for the Congress party that is headed by a criminal who is accused in the ‘Note for Vote’ scandal. The party became obsolete and lost relevance. BRS is in a straight fight with anybody. Mr Modi or Congress leaders should tell people what they did to Telangana and its people. People voted for Congress 11 times and with their scandalous rule, it was enough and they did not want the party anymore.
Mr Rama Rao said both the Congress and BJP were just interested in gaining power in Telangana but in the welfare and development of the people. Having seen the people-friendly rule of Mr KCR who cared for every section of society, people should further strengthen his hands. “I wish people to ensure victory of BRS in all the 12 seats in Nalgonda district,” he said.
