KTR faults Congress party’s Minority and BC declarations

The minority and BC declarations issued by the Congress party are aimed at conspiring against two religions. Including minorities in BCs is against the constitution, said BRS working president Mr KT Rama Rao. Taking a dig at the minority and BC declarations of the Congress party, he said how the Muslims, Sikhs and Jains are included in BCs when they are classified as religious minorities by the Constitution. They have special privileges.

But the Congress party leaders are promising that if they come to power, they will undertake enumeration of BC populations and Minority population to provide proportionate reservation based on the population which is nothing but ridiculous, Mr KTR opined. It was only aimed at creating a rift between the two religions. It will deprive the Muslim Minorities of all their privileges. “All the boards, commissionarates and other institutions would be closed down if Muslims are included in BCs list,” he pointed out.

Mr KTR mocked at the promise of Congress party leaders that they would allocate Rs. 4,000 crores for minority welfare. CM KCR has spent Rs. 10,140 crore for minority welfare since the formation of a separate Telangana state. The BRS leader vowed to defeat Raja Singh in Goshamahal, Eatela Rajender in Huzurabad and Revanth Reddy in Kodangal this time. His party would sweep the polls in all the three constituencies, he said.
