The Congress leaders have been talking nonsense misleading the people. They should be rejected at the elections, said CM KCR. Addressing an election rally at Sircilla on Tuesday, he said as the elections are nearing, the Congress leaders are talking what they wish. They say this government is wasting electricity giving 24 hour free power to farmers. They say just three hours is enough. They also want people to give one chance now making false promises.
People gave them six decades to rule this country. What did they do? They failed to give water and current. “People should remember that Telangana is the only state to give 24 hour power supply. The PM’s own Gujarat state is not having 24 hour power,” Mr KCR told the cheering crowds. He said the Sircilla witnessed rapid development and once the desperate weavers ate now happy. It was Mr KTR who came up with various proposals for welfare of weavers which the state cabinet promptly approved. Every effort is made to help them and other needy sections.
The manifesto just released will spell put the governments plan to increase benefits under various schemes such as Rythu Bandhu and pensions. Mr KCR lamented that the unscrupulous Congress leaders attribute motives to every decision taken by the government fir the good of people. Now they say they will scrap Dharani. It is meant to empower farmers and protect their rights over their lands. It is such a foolproof system that not even the chief minister can alter your record except your own thumb impression. “The Congress leaders say they will throw it on the bay of Bengal if elected to power. I appeal to you to throw them instead and preserve your right,” he said.
Mr KCR has warned people not to get carried away by the false talk and cheap tricks played by Congress and BJP leaders. Mr KTR has been working with you and one need not tell you about his work. You should bless and elect him voting massively and secure his good services. Earlier in the meeting, MLA and BRS working president Mr KTR has listed out the initiatives taken by the BRS government since formation of separate Telangana state.
