Soon after learning about the debacle of his BRS party in the elections, the chief minister and BRS party president tendered his resignation for the post. He sent his resignation to the Governor through his Official of Special Duty (OSD). He left his convoy and proceeded to his constituency in his vehicle. He even asked the personal security personnel to stay back and went alone. He proceeded like a common man stopping at the traffic signals.
KCR lived up to his teaching that one should not get disheartened at defeat or become arrogant at victory. One should take things in their strides and he did it in practice on Sunday soon after the elections were announced. He did not allow the officials to come with him till outside the camp office. Only MP Santosh Kumar accompanied Mr KCR. He then proceeded to his Erravalli farmhouse negotiating the traffic like any other citizen.
He practised what he taught to his party leaders and functionaries. He embraced the simplicity and gave up all the officialdom.
