In a shocking confession, the TPCC President himself admitted in an interview that he indeed discriminates between Reddys who are affluent and Reddys who are poor. Revanth Reddy was recorded on camera saying that if a rich Reddy comes home, the person will be taken inside the home, and a poor Reddy will be asked to sit outside.
Revanth’s ’Reddy’ politics are nothing new. A few months back, at a public meeting, Revanth pleaded to political parties to hand over the leadership to Reddys. Out in the open, he appealed to the political parties to increase the participation of Reddys to ensure the party’s victory. In another meeting, he went on saying that every Reddy should hold at least 5-10 acres of land, so that they can control politics and win power.
The videos have gone viral on social media and netizens slammed Revanth for classist comments and divisional politics. Many people wondered how he was made TPCC President and how he got elected as an MP.
