The Congress that ruled the country for over five decades failed to live up to the expectations of the people and lost its relevance now, said BRS working president Mr K T Rama Rao. Addressing a public meeting in Kamareddy, he said any vote given to Congress is wasted. Those miserable and bad days will come back if the Congress party comes to power.
Through hard work and commitment, Mr KCR achieved separate statehood to Telangana and during the past decade he fulfilled the aspirations of the people. The most basic needs of people, drinking water and power supply were ensured. Scores of welfare schemes were introduced. Every section of society is benefitted under the BRS party government.
Mr KTR appealed to people not to believe in what the Opposition political party leaders are promising. They were all aimed at gaining political mileage. Being away from power, now the Congress leaders are promising heaven on earth. In Karnataka, they failed to deliver the election promises. Now the farmers coming onto roads protesting for quality and adequate power as the crops are withering away.
Referring to the claims of Congress leader A Revanth Reddy, he said the local leader Mr Shabbir Ali is now thinking of opting for another constituency. What does Revanth Reddy have here in the Kamareddy constituency? Mr KTR posed. When Mr KCR announced his decision to contest from Kamareddy, the Congress leaders were feared. They are making false claims and challenging the most popular leader Mr KCR who enjoys massive public trust.
People should vote in great numbers for the BRS party and KCR. The people of Nizamabad will get Godavari waters soon. “You all should strengthen the hands of Mr KCR for more prosperity and development,” he added.
