The Congress government is setting the stage for yet another publicity stunt. CM Revanth Reddy is gearing up to claim credit for the police constable recruitment that happened during the BRS regime. Today, the state government is organizing a grand event to hand over appointment letters to 15,750 constables.
Similar to the staff nurse recruitment, the Revanth government is basking in the glory of the previous BRS government in constable recruitment as well. The notification to fill police constable jobs was released in April 2022, and the final exam was conducted in April 2023. The final merit list was released in October 2023, all during the tenure of former CM KCR.
However, the recruitment process faced a delay due to cases in the High Court. With the court granting approval for the final recruitment in January 2024, CM Revanth is now attributing the accomplishment to his record.
