It is widely reported that the Congress government in Telangana has decided to recall Telugu textbooks distributed to government school students. The proposal comes after noticing that former Chief Minister KCR’s name appeared in the foreword.
Reportedly, the school education department has recalled these Telugu textbooks for classes 1 to 10 because they contain KCR’s name in the foreword. The Congress government’s lack of foresight has caused unnecessary trouble for students.
Schools across the state reopened on Wednesday, with officials, public representatives, and teachers distributing textbooks and workbooks to students in government schools. However, the government quickly issued orders to withdraw these materials after noticing KCR’s name.
