The Civic Poll Analysis Committee (C-PAC) has predicted that the BRS Party would win 8 seats in Telangana in the ensuing Lok Sabha (LS) elections. While many pollsters are forecasting a poor performance from the BRS in the LS polls, this survey has caught popular attention.
According to this survey, the BRS is expected to receive 34.54% of the votes, while the Congress and the BJP are projected to secure vote shares of 30.03% and 27.17%, respectively. The survey predicts that the Congress will win 6 seats, the BJP 2 seats, and AIMIM 1 seat.
The BRS is expected to bag the Medak, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Malkajgiri, Secunderabad, Khammam, Warangal, and Peddapalli seats. While the BJP might win the Chevella and Mahabubnagar segments, the AIMIM is poised to win the Hyderabad seat. The remaining 6 seats will go to the Congress.
The C-PAC has accurately predicted the results of the Telangana assembly election, forecasting 66 seats for the Congress and 40 seats for the BRS. Proving their numbers right, the Congress won 64 seats, and the BRS won 39 seats.
