BRS MLAs stage protest in Assembly premises condemning CM Revanth’s derogatory language

BRS legislators staged a flash protest in the Assembly premises, condemning the derogatory language used by CM Revanth Reddy during the ongoing Assembly session. In a heated discussion between the members of the BRS and the Congress over the vote-on-account budget, Revanth made some abusive remarks about former CM and BRS President KCR.

Condemning the language used, the BRS MLAs walked out of the Assembly and headed towards the media point. However, allegedly at the behest of the ruling party, the Assembly marshals obstructed the legislators from entering the media point. Enraged by this dictatorial behavior, the BRS MLAs staged a flash protest as their voices were being muzzled both inside and outside the house.

Terming these incidents as an assault on democracy, the BRS Party demanded the expunging of unparliamentary remarks made by Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy about senior MLA Kadiyam Srihari and derogatory comments made by CM Revanth Reddy about former CM KCR.
