Telangana government came to the rescue of folk artists Pastham Mogilaliah and his wife Komuramma who swayed the audience with their skills in the climax of Balagam movie. The couple were in abject poverty and Mogilaiah has health issues. Moved by their plight, CM KCR got them covered under the Dalit Bandhu scheme.
The Balagam movie folk artists are now the beneficiaries of the scheme and have received a brand new four-wheeler. Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao has handed over the new car. The state government is also taking care of Mogilaiah’s health and got him admitted in the NIMS Hospital. The couple thanked CM KCR for the help and kind gesture.
