Minister and BRS party working president Mr KT Rama Rao has clarified that they have nothing to do with the ongoing tussle between the TDP and YSRCP in Andhra Pradhesh. He said they cannot give permission to hold any rallies to any parties. The state government is concerned with the law and order issue. They need to maintain peace in the state.
Neither party have any stakes and relevance in Telangana. They could hold rallies in Rajahmundry, Vijawayada, Kurnool or elsewhere in Andhra Pradesh but not in Telangana. Moreover, the IT corridor is very prestigious and even during the Telangana movement, no activity was allowed by the then government here.
Mr Rama Rao said the leaders of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan, Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan were all his friends and he had no grudge against anybody or interests in that state for now. The TDP leader Lokesh had called him to ask why we were not allowing the rallies in support of Mr Naidu, the we clarified our stand, he explained.
The peace cannot be disturbed in Telangana. The Andhra Pradesh leaders should settle their scores in their state and should not make Telangana their ground for the same. It is purely an issue between the two political parties. It is subjudice and how can people come out and hold rallies, he wondered.
