Welcoming back the IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao to Telangana who was on a whirlwind tour to the UK and the US attracting investments and jobs, a hashtag – #42000 jobs started trending on Twitter. Netizens took to Twitter to express their gratitude to the Minister for putting Telangana on the global map once again by drawing global investments to the state.
KTR’s highly productive business trip to two countries has resulted in 42,000 job opportunities for the youth of Telangana across sectors. Each of the 42,000 direct jobs generated through this tour will in turn create 3 to 4 indirect jobs. The Minister participated in more than 80 business meetings, five round-tables, and two conferences and presented the growth story of Telangana and showcased Telangana as an investment hotspot.
After meeting Minister KTR, marquee companies such as Warner Bros. Discovery, StateStreet, VXI Technologies, Medtronic, DAZN, AlliantGroup to name a few have either announced their new announcements or expansion plans. The significant aspect of the tour was many companies coming forward to start their operations in Tier-II cities of Telangana such as Nalgonda, Karimnagar and Warangal. More than 2,500 jobs would be created soon in the Tier-II cities.
Highlighting all these achievements, many Telanganites thanked the Minister for demonstrating unwavering commitment and relentless efforts to attract global giants to Telangana and thereby creating abundant job opportunities for the youth.
