Reddy community benefitted much under BRS regime: Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy

CM K Chandrasekhar Rao treated all communities equally and the Reddy community too benefitted much from his gestures, said Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy and Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy.

Laying the foundation stone for the Reddy hostel, school, and welfare building at Kamareddy under the aegis of Raj Bahadur Venkatrami Reddy Vidya Parishat Trust, the minister said though many from the Reddy community worked as chief ministers in the past, the community did not receive the patronage it deserved. There were many poor among the Reddy community.

The minister said it was CM KCR who allocated 15 acres of land worth Rs. 150 crore to the Raj Bahadur Venkatrami Reddy Trust and also sanctioned Rs. 10 crore for building construction. Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy said all the welfare schemes such as Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Beema among others are being extended to the Reddy community as well.

He said if the trust needed some more funds, he would use his good offices with the CM and secure them. Mr KCR is a very generous person and would go back in extending a helping hand to the poor and needy, he added.
