The Members of Parliament (MPs) of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi were the voice of Telangana in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha in the last nine years. The BRS MPs have raised a total of 4,754 questions in the 16th and 17th Lok Sabha.
In the 16th Lok Sabha, the BRS parliamentarians raised 2,726 questions, and in the 17th Lok Sabha, they put forth 2,028 questions. The BRS Party played a key role in protecting the rights and interests of Telangana by questioning the union government on due share of funds and unfulfilled promises. In every session, the BRS MPs made sure that the demands of Telangana were heard in the parliament by raising pertinent questions.
Meanwhile, the Congress MPs have asked 1,271 questions, and the BJP MPs have raised only 190 questions in the Lok Sabha since 2014. The numbers reveal that the BRS Party has been the voice of Telangana in Delhi.
