Three-fold GSDP growth in Telangana in the last 10 years

The Telangana state Gross Domestic Product (GSDP) has increased phenomenally and now it constitutes 4.8 per cent of the national GSDP. The GSDP which was Rs. 4,51,580 crore in 2013-2014 has increased to Rs. 13,13,391 core in 2022-23, according to the Reserve Bank of India handbook that was just released.

Of all the bigger states, the Telangana GSDP constitutes 4.8 per cent of the national GSDP. In terms of per capita income too, there was significant growth. For the year 2013-2014, the per capita income in the Telangana state was Rs. 1,12,162 lakh and it has increased to Rs. 3,17,115 lakh for the year 2022-23. There is a growth of 15.1 per cent. No other state in the country registered this much growth in per capita income.
