Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar was all praise for the tremendous progress achieved by Telangana in the agriculture sector. Tomar said that Telangana is racing ahead in agriculture production and productivity.
Tomar was in Hyderabad for a review meeting on G-20 Conference on agriculture to be held in Hyderabad in June. The union minister observed that Telangana is the right venue for the conference on agriculture as the state is a pioneer in agriculture development. Tomar said that all the states should place a focus on agriculture and invest in the sector.
Speaking on the occasion, Telangana Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy said that in the last nine years, CM KCR has accorded top priority to agriculture and Telangana became a beacon for the nation in the agriculture sector.
