At a time the ethnic and communal violence is rocking the country, the Telangana state stands tall manifesting rare peace and communal harmony, said MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi. Speaking during the zero hour in Assembly on Friday, he said it was very sad to see bizarre developments in Manipur and Haryana where the arson, looting and killings going on in the name of caste and creed. He said one Saifuddin who was killed in Jaipiur-Mumbai train caused untold misery to the family. His wife and three daughters are left in the lurch as the only bread earner met the worst fate. The MIM leader requested the government to come to the rescue of the family.
Responding immediately to him, IT Minister KT Rama Rao said the state government would provide a job to deceased Saifuddin’s wife, allocate a double-bedroom house and deposit Rs. 2 lakh each to his three daughters. His generosity evoked laurels from the members cutting across the party lines. Mr Rama Rao said he was very sorry to see that some political parties and unruly elements trying to cash in dividing the people.
Mr Akbaruddin further said people of the state reposed utmost faith in CM KCR and they were confident that he would not allow such elements to rule the roost in Telangana. He said he was sure that Mr KCR would keep those forces at bay and ensure communal harmony in Telangana.
