Telangana CM’s Facebook Page is a huge hit!

The popularity of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao can be gauged from the resounding reception of Telangana CM’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/TelanganaCMO/) by its followers. Within a short span of one year the page’s followers grew exponentially to 2.75 lakh and the number is counting. Madhya Pradesh CM’s page (www.facebook.com/CMMadhyaPradesh/) is the nearest second with nearly 2.70 lakh followers while Andhra Pradesh CM’s page (www.facebook.com/AndhraPradeshCM/)is placed at number 5 with 32,518 followers.

In the last 30 days, the Telangana CM’s Facebook page has clocked a whopping 1,10,05,719 user reach worldwide, which is a testimony to its popularity.

An analysis of the user statistics of Telangana CM’s Facebook page throws up interesting insights. About 78% of the users who liked it are in the age group of 18-34 years. This proves that predominantly it is the young generation, which is following the Telangana CM’s page.

A geographical analysis of user statistics shows that about 89% users are from India. While Saudi Arabia stands second, and USA stands third. Another interesting aspect is that out of the top 10 countries, 6 are from the Gulf region (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman). In terms of cities, Hyderabad is home for the maximum number of users, followed by Warangal and Karimnagar.
