Stray dog menace: One dog attacks 30 people in 2 days in Huzurabad

Stray dog attacks became rampant in Telangana, leading to frequent dog bites that have resulted in injuries and even fatalities, particularly among children. Despite assurances from the Congress government that such incidents will not be repeated, no effective action has been taken. Even after the High Court reprimanded the government, there has been no visible change.

In a recent incident in Huzurabad, Karimnagar district, a stray dog attacked and injured around 30 people over the course of two days. Among the victims were Bhagya, Vijay, and Senior Sanitary Supervisor Ramesh, who were on their way to perform sanitation work in Gandhinagar. The same dog also injured two sanitation workers in Mamillawada. The injured were taken to MGM Hospital in Warangal for treatment.

Locals claim that stray dogs frequently attack small children who are seen alone, creating a climate of fear and preventing parents from allowing their children to go outside.
