All the Rythu Vedikas built across the state to assist the farmers are being decorated for the state formation day celebrations. It was decided to celebrate the Farmers Day on June 3. Hence the Vedikas decorated with flowers and special lighting. There are 2,601 Rythu Vedikas which were built with a cost of Rs. 571 crores.
It is the idea of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao that the farmers should have a place to meet and debate, learn and get assistance from experts. Hence he decided to build these Rythu Vedikas. The state government now allowed officials of various departments to carry out their duties from these centres to help the farmers get more knowledge of various issues.
