BRS working president, IT Minister KTR said that he developed Sircilla constituency and district with the blessings of the people of Sircilla. KTR, who is contesting from Sircilla constituency, has submitted his nomination papers to the Election Returning Officer on Thursday. KTR is contesting for the seat for the fifth time. It may be noted that KTR performed special pooja at Pragathi Bhavan before filing the nomination.
Later speaking to the media he said that he worked in such a way that the people of Sircilla district can feel proud of him. People have to think about how Sircilla looked in the past and how it looks now. Sircilla is in the forefront in development in the State. KTR said he worked as a minister for nine years with the blessings of CM KCR. He said that he is confident that he will win again with a respectable majority. Progress reports will be sent door to door for the people to see what development Sircilla achieved and what Congress and BJP have done.
Congress and BJP are attacking KCR who is making irreconcilable fight for the development of Telangana. People will not sit calm when the Gujarati and Delhi leaders come to invade Telangana. People have to decide whether they want current or Congress – tears or water, the minister said. He reminded that CM KCR has never created divisions in the name of caste or religion. But some leaders take up slogans on the lines of caste and religion. Telangana people do not need leaders with caste and religious madness, he said.
If people surrender to temporary temptations like money or liquor, they will suffer for a long time. The party BRS which is a household name has to be supported in the elections, KTR said.
