People in Kamareddy celebrate and welcome CM KCR’s decision

There is a kind of festival atmosphere prevailing in the villages across the Kamareddy Assembly constituency of the erstwhile Nizamabad district. Hailing the decision of CM KCR to contest from Kamareddy Assembly, people are taking out rallies in jubilation sporting huge pink flags and offering milk to flexi boards with KCR’s photos. Caste associations are organising exclusive meetings and villages as a whole taking part in meetings where they are passing unanimous resolutions expressing their support to Mr KCR. They are pleading to vote only for BRS party.

At Gargul mandal, members of Vyshya, Reddy, Goud, Holiya Dasari, Voddera and others took out a rally to pledge their support to Mr KCR and also thanked sitting MLA Gampa Govardhan. They said they would elect with Mr KCR with a great majority as a gratitude to his welfare programmes such as Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Beema, Pensions, and free power to farmers among others.

Similar rallies were taken out and resolutions passed in villages of Machareddy, Bibipet, Domakonda, Kamareddy, Ramareddy, Bikkanur mandals by various castes. They are handing over their resolution copies to their respective village Sarpanches. This is something a new trend in the elections. It only indicates the outcome of the result of the elections due in few months in the state.

Lingavva of Gargul village said they felt very happy when they heard that Mr KCR is contesting as their MLA. “If Mr KCR comes here, we will welcome him. He will do good things for us,” she said. Sayavva of the same village said Mr KCR had become a hope for many elders like her. He made Rs. 200 pension to Rs. 2,000. If KCR comes as a MLA, it will be good for the people here, she said.
