Maharashtra’s Kranthikari Shetkari Party merges with BRS party

The BRS party is going from strength to strength in Maharashtra state. The Kranthikari Shetkari Party merged into the BRS party on Tuesday. Party leader Satish Salve announced this at a meeting with the BRS founder and Telangana CM Mr K Chandrashekhar Rao. He came along with hundreds of his party men and met Mr KCR.

Kranthikari Shetkari Party has been espousing the cause of farmers and the downtrodden in Maharashtra state. Witnessing the growing public patronage of Mr KCR and his welfare schemes, the Shetkari party decided to work with him and formally merged into the BRS party. Mr Salve promised to popularise and expand the BRS party to every nook and corner of Maharashtra state. He said the BRS party slogan “Abki bar kisan sarkar” is very popular among the people of his state and they would work to make it true. He lauded the vision and commitment of Mr KCR to farmers and poorer sections. He wished that the welfare schemes of the Telangana state be implemented in Maharashtra as well.

Meanwhile, a large number of leaders and important functionaries of BJP, Congress, Shiv Sena and other parties joined en masse into the BRS party under the leadership of Charan G Waghmare. Retired IAS officer from Maharashtra state TK Bhagul met CM Mr KCR and discussed the present political situation in the country.
