Firing a salvo at PM Narendra Modi, Minister K T Rama Rao sought to know the purpose of his visit to Telangana state. He wanted to know if the purpose was purely meant for political mileage or to comfort the people here. The much-promised railway coach factory was denied and a just overhauling factory worth about Rs. 5,000 crore is being set up in Kazipet. It was against the bifurcation Act. But PM Modi established a railway coach factory with Rs. 20,000 crore in his native Gujarat state.
Mr Rama Rao said several promises such as the Steel plant at Bayyaram in Mahabubabad district and Tribal University in Mulugu district – the part of promises made in the bifurcation Act remain on paper. The BJP leaders were bluffing people on the Tribal university blaming the state government for land acquisition which was already done. As a mark of protest for discriminating the Telangana state, the ruling BRS party has decided to stay away from the visit of Prime Minister Mr Modi, the party’s working president Mr Rama Rao said.
Referring to the criticism by TPCC president A Revanth Reddy over Dharani, the BRS leader said there is no need to take him seriously. Mr Revanth Reddy is a Godse in Gandhi Bhavan. He was nurtured by RSS and is a staunch BJP person He never criticises Modi or BJP for the reasons best known to him
“How silly of him to say Mr KCR is digging up the treasure hidden under the Secretariat building. How awful it is to say Mr KCR amassed Rs. 10,000 crore through Dharani portal,” KTR said. Mr Rama Rao said the Congress leader is unable to see people getting quick and transparent registration of their land through Dharani portal.
The minister also came down heavily on Rahul Gandhi and said nobody is recognising him as a leader in the country. On TDP, he said Mr Naidu who rebuked Modi is now craving to have an alliance with BJP. Mr Naidu should tell the people of Andhra Pradesh what Modi did to the people of Andhra Pradesh. People of Telangana are not ready to believe anybody either Congress or BJP who are now out showering promises, said BRS leader Mr Rama Rao. The BRS party has decided to give Rs 1.5 crore each to the families of deceased BRS leaders – Kusuma Jagadish of Mulugu district and Saichand of Mahabubnagar district. The party will continue to support them, he added.
