Kodangal women took to streets demanding resumption of Mission Bhagiratha water supply

The people of CM Revanth Reddy’s home constituency are facing a tough time due to inconsistent drinking water supply. Women in Dorepally village in Kodangal’s Maddur mandal took to the streets demanding to resume the supply of Mission Bhagiratha water. The women have protested alleging that the water supply has been stopped for a few days.

The women hit the streets with empty pots and demanded the Congress government to reinstate the supply of water. With the onset of summer, the water woes are increasing across the state. While the farmers are grappling with lack of irrigation water, the general public are suffering due to erratic supply of drinking water.
