Telangana Chief Minister and BRS president Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao will be inaugurating the BRS party office in New Delhi, the country’s capital this afternoon. He would be taking part in the vedic ritual around 12.30 pm and later inaugurates the office building around 1 pm.
It has four floors with lower ground housing the media hall and servants’ quarters; the ground floor housing a canteen, reception lobby and four chambers for the party functionaries; the first floor has a special chamber for the party president, conference hall and other chambers; the second and third floors will have 20 rooms of which there will be two suites – one for party president and one for party working president. The rest will be made available to important leaders.
The BRS party office in New Delhi will become a centre of activity as the party has decided to play a key role in national politics. It can host leaders of various parties from different states depending on the time and needs. R&B minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy and MP J Santosh Kumar were camping in New Delhi for the past few days overseeing the arrangements. With ministers, MLAs and chairpersons of different corporations already reaching the venue and with decorations made for the purpose, a kind of festive environment is prevailing there.
