KCR’s Maharashtra tour shook BJP and other political parties

Witnessing a gathering of a large number of people around BRS founder Mr KCR in Maharashtra, the opposition parties were shaken. The leaders of various political parties were unable to stomach the tremendous public reception to Mr KCR in Maharashtra during his two-day visit. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said it was good for Mr KCR to focus on Telangana. He ordered the civic body officials to remove any kind of hoarding or banners of BRS in Pandharpur belonging to BRS party. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut described KCR’s visit as drama. He too advised the BRS leader to focus on Telangana. He said on the day Mr Rao visited Maharashtra, many people joined Congress party. “The BRS will not have any impact on the politics of Maharashtra,” he maintained.

Meanwhile, Mr Modi while addressing a public meeting in Bhopal on Tuesday, described the BRS regime in Telangana as dynasty rule equating Mr Rao with the Gandhi family. Mr Modi accused every regional party – SP in Uttar Pradesh, RJD in Bihar, DMK in Tamil Nadu and other states of practising dynasty rule. He accused leaders of respective states of amassing wealth at the cost of people’s welfare. He tried to portray his BJP as a clean and sinless party.

Reacting to the remarks of leaders, BRS founder and Telangana Chief Minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao wondered why there is so much outcry as his party is just four months old in Maharashtra. Had the successive parties lived up to the expectations of the people, they would not patronage any party like BRS. Since the BRS is teamed with people and focused on establishing farmers’ rule, they are now looking up to it. “It is disgusting to see why people are deprived of drinking water and electricity when they are abundantly available in the country,” Mr Rao said promising to bring about a radical change in the country.
