KCR is the most tribal-friendly Chief Minister in India: Minister Satyavathi Rathod

Describing KCR’s rule as a golden period for the tribals, Tribal welfare minister Satyavathi Rathod has said he is the most tribal-friendly chief minister in the country. She was addressing the national Banjara meet. She said it was Mr KCR who took a decision to upgrade the 3,144 tribal hamlets into Gram Panchayats and sanctioned Rs. 2 crore to lay roads in tribal villages. As he introduced 10 per cent reservation to tribals, the tribal children got improved opportunities in education and employment.

After coming to power again next time, the state government would construct a Banjara Bhavan in New Delhi also. The minister said as the Lambada language is spoken by 15 crore people in the country, the central government should declare it as a national language including it in the eighth schedule of the constitution. The meeting passed several resolutions seeking more opportunities in all spheres.
