Karnataka former CM Kumaraswamy cautions Telangana against false promises of Congress

Janata Dal senior leader and former Chief Minister of Karnataka state, Mr HD Kumara Swamy has lashed out at the Congress government in the state. Those who could not implement their promises are now touring Telangana state making the same false and impractical promises, he said.

Kumaraswamy was talking to the media in Bangalore, where he said the five promises made by the Congress leaders were not delivered so far. There was no power for just two hours in Karnataka but they were promised five hours of power supply in Telangana. In Telangana, BRS Chief Minister KCR is giving Rs.10,000 per acre per month. So far the Telangana government disbursed Rs. 73,000 crore. Now these Congress leaders are promising Rs. 15,000 just copying the BRS scheme.

The BRS government is giving 24 hours of free power supply to farmers and now these Karnataka leaders are going there promising three hours of power. What a shame. Here they are unable to provide even three hours of power to farmers. Mr Kumaraswamy appealed to the people of the Telangana not to believe in what Congress leaders are promising and get carried away by them.
