Hyderabad is set to become home to India’s first Center of Excellence (CoE) for new mobility, focusing on connected, autonomous, secure, and electric vehicles. The Center of Excellence in Hyderabad, formed through a strategic collaboration between Hyundai Mobis and BITS Hyderabad and the Government of Telangana.
The CoE aims to empower engineers with cutting-edge knowledge and skills. By pooling expertise and resources, the CoE seeks to create a highly qualified workforce, fostering innovation and advancement in the field of new mobility. The MoU signing ceremony, held at T-Hub in the presence of IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao, marks a significant milestone in the automotive industry.
The partnership between BITS Pilani Hyderabad, Mobis India, and the Government of Telangana recognizes the importance of designing courses, research, and development and training students. This collaboration aims to drive innovation and empower engineers with the necessary skills for the future of mobility.
The CoE curriculum includes a wide range of courses, covering topics such as ADAS, Embedded Systems Design, Automotive Networks & Communications, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, Automotive Control Systems, Machine Intelligence in Autonomous Vehicles, Connected Cars and more. This comprehensive approach ensures that engineers are equipped with the skills needed to tackle the challenges of the evolving automotive landscape.
