Great response to the BRS membership drive in Maharashtra

The people and leaders of various political parties who joined the BRS are in an upbeat mood in Maharashtra as the membership drive got a very good response. So far, a total of 3.5 lakh people took the membership. The drive was launched last month May 22 and it will last till June 22. The membership will further go up by the last date of enrolment, said state kisan cell president Manikrao Kadam. The Kisan cell itself completed two lakh members and other wings enrolled 1.5 lakh people into the party.

Meanwhile, leaders of various political parties continue to join the BRS. On Tuesday, Nagpur NCP vice president Rupesh Pannase, Nagpur south Assembly in charge Sukhdevo Vanjari and 30 other important leaders from Nagpur and Aurangabad joined the BRS party. BRS president and Telangana Chief Minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao will be opening the first permanent party office in Nagpur on Thursday. Soon party will open its offices in Mumbai, Nanded, Pune and Aurangabad. It was decided to open the party offices across the country in a phased manner.

Slowly, the BRS is emerging as a force to reckon with in Maharashtra going by the phenomenal public response. The people and political party leaders desire for Telangana model of development. They were eager to see the government giving free power, drinking water and other welfare schemes to people in Maharashtra.
