BRS Party President KCR is gearing up for his second tour to districts to meet distressed farmers. KCR will visit Karimnagar, Sircilla, and Vemulawada constituencies on April 5 to examine the withered crops.
In a mission to stand with the farmers in their tough times, KCR has embarked on agricultural field visits from March 31. Yesterday, he met farmers in Jangaon and Suryapet districts to inquire about crop loss and console them. He assured that the BRS Party would fight for them and demanded the Congress government to pay Rs. 25,000 per acre for the farmers who suffered losses.
KCR said the crops in around 15 lakh acres of land were dried up due to the incompetence of the Congress government. He added that 200 farmers died in the last 100 days due to mounting debts, crop loss, and electric shocks.
