The State government would take up the extension of metro rail on top priority and would discuss it in the cabinet meeting, said Municipal Administration minister Mr KT Rama Rao. Responding to a tweet by a citizen, the minister said CM KCR had already instructed the municipal authorities to prepare proposals. He was referring to the heavy traffic congestion owing to the heavy rainfall.
KTR said improvement in infrastructure is needed to achieve a balanced development and the state government is on the job. On the scrapping of VRA system and regularisation of the staff, Mr KTR said CM KCR took a humane approach to the issue. He thanked CM KCR for the decision.
