With a view to bring in more transparency and be user-friendly, the state government has introduced more options in the Dharani portal, the largest digital record of lands. One could know the land extent and its current market value during the registration, market value can be known during the sale and purchase, the option was given to gift and sale deed registrations to many instead of a single party.
Exemption was given to submit the caste certification during mortgage except in agency areas, one could now make changes of name, gender, Aadhar and caste categories. If the patta land is recorded as assigned, solutions were shown to sort out the issue, pahanis were brought under the logins of district collector and CCLA and option was given to set right any anomalies in patta passbooks and district collector were authorised to do so. These eight options are expected to sort the majority of the grievances of the land owners in the state.
