Comic Con India, the pop culture extravaganza in the subcontinent, is back in Hyderabad. The 2024 event is set to unfold on January 27 and 28, at Hitex, promising an unforgettable experience for anime, gaming, and pop culture lovers.
Hyderabad Comic Con 2024 guarantees a fantastic time for attendees, who will each receive an exclusive copy of Marvel’s Infinity Gauntlet No.1 comic book, a Limited Edition DC Comics Batman Poster, and a commemorative Comic Con India Bag. The event is poised to highlight comics in a big way, featuring emerging publishing houses and Indian artists like Indusverse, Yali Dreams Creations, Sufi Comics, Prasad Bhat, Raj Comics by Sanjay Gupta, Lilorosh, Acid Toad, Garbage Bin, Corporate comics, Bullseye Press, Bakarmax, Art of SAVIO, Abhijeet Kini, and many more. International artists such as Rico Renzi and Danesh Mohiuddin will also grace the occasion.
Founder of Comic Con India, Jatin Varma, expressed his excitement about the weekend celebration, stating, “Comic Con is finally back in Hyderabad after a gap of 3 years! We cannot wait to host all the fans again. This is our biggest show in the city yet, showcasing the best of Indian comics, fan experiences, cosplay, gaming, geeky shopping, and so much more. The eagerly anticipated event will include the Arena, a 40,000 sq ft gaming arena in association with The Esports Club, featuring daily tournaments, Esports, popular streamers, and gaming experiences.
Comic Con India will also present panels and exclusive sessions with renowned entities such as Amar Chitra Katha, Raj Comics, Crunchyroll, and leading Indian & International creators. Attendees can enjoy special stand-up by Aakash Gupta, followed by the popular Binge-O-clock duo Rohan Joshi & Sahil Shah, and electrifying performances by MC Altaf, Proximity Crew, Geek Fruit, Hip Hop artist – Panther, and many more on the main stage. Additionally, Hyderabad Comic Con will offer captivating experiences with Maruti Suzuki Arena, Crunchyroll, Warner Bros India!, and Hyderabad’s Biggest Comic Book Store by Penguin Random House India.
