The Congress government is planning to distribute appointment letters to staff nurses recruited during the BRS regime. The state government is organizing a large-scale program on January 31 to hand over the letters to 7,094 staff nurses.
The BRS government has released a notification to fill these posts in December 2022 and the examination was conducted on August 2, 2023. The declaration of results was postponed due to the enforcement of the model of code of conduct in the state. The previous BRS government has notified 7,094 staff nurse posts to meet the requirement due to the establishment of 21 new government medical colleges in the state and improvement of medical facilities.
On the other side, some of the aspirants have staged a protest near the medical recruitment board office alleging irregularities in the merit list. The aspirants are raising objections over the weightage and the normalization used in preparing the merit list.
However, many people on social media are pointing out that, just to claim credit for the jobs filled by the previous government, CM Revanth Reddy is organizing a grand event at the expense of the public exchequer.
